These jobs help narrow the skills gap, enhance the American economy, and help individuals achieve their greatest potential. This February, with this resolution, we recognize the role CTE plays in our country and the contributions made by CTE professionals and educators.”

the January Career and Technical Education
Student of the Month in Computer Tech & Programming
Connor has found his niche and excelled with it. He noted an interest in programming while working through his IT Fundamentals certification as a sophomore and enrolled in the programming class as a junior. He started off on the same page as everyone else but has shown extreme growth in his abilities largely due to a self-motivated passion for the topic. Connor has built a variety of games and utilities in the Python programming language showcasing a level of creativity and logic that makes him stand out amongst his peers.
