Health Screenings
Bradford Area School District conducts free screenings for our students to monitor their hearing, vision, dental, and physical health. Parents may elect to have their child’s exams done privately by their family physician or dentist since he/she can best evaluate their health and provide continuity of care. If you desire to have the exams done privately at your expense, please have your physician complete the appropriate forms and return them to the school nurse. These exams may be completed within one year prior to a student’s entry into the grade where the exam is required. Thank you for your cooperation in carrying out this phase of the school health program. Our health screenings include:

Immunizations
ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, unless the child has a medical or religious/philosophical exemption, a student must have had at least one dose of the required vaccinations or risk exclusion.
