Health Occupations


Health Occupations Class

Students in the Health Occupations Program learn firsthand by actual exposure to the various careers in health care, class and laboratory procedures, guest speakers, role-playing and more.  In addition to classroom and lab work, students complete on-site training hours at local skilled care nursing facilities. 

 

This program is designed to help students discover possible career pathways in the overall health care field.

 

An individual completing this program could pursue the following career paths:

  • Nursing
  • Radiology
  • Sports Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Physician’s Assistant
  • Medical Doctor/Physician
