Can I send cash for my child's lunch?
We do accept cash but a check or money order, made payable to BASD, is preferred.

How do I put money on my child's lunch account?
You can send a check or money order, made payable to BASD, with your child. At School Street Elementary and GGB Elementary, the teachers collect the lunch money at the beginning of school and send it to the cafeteria in the morning. At Floyd C. Fretz Middle School and the Bradford Area High School, the students give their lunch money to the cashier when they go to lunch.

How much do breakfast and lunch cost?
Breakfast: First breakfast is free. To qualify for the free breakfast, a student must choose at least 3 of the 4 following components: Protein, Grain, Fruit/Vegetable, and Milk. One choice must be from the FRUIT/VEGETABLE component. A second breakfast combo is $2.50 for all students.
Lunch: First lunch is free. To qualify for the free lunch, a student must choose 3 of the 5 following components: Protein, Grain, Vegetable, Fruit and Milk. One choice must be the VEGETABLE or FRUIT component. A second lunch combo is $4.10 for all students.
All second (double) breakfasts and lunches are full price regardless of status.

What are the prices on snacks?
Prices range from $.50 to $2.75 for items such as baked chips, pretzels, ice cream, fruit rollups, slushies, and any extra items off the regular menu that a student wants (i.e. a sandwich, milk, etc.)
