Music
Students
enrolled in the instrumental music program will develop
an appreciation and understanding of music that will be
of use throughout that student's life. This appreciation
and understanding is achieved through exposure to varied
literature of many styles and levels of difficulty, balanced
with opportunities in theory, history and listening, as
well as the obvious affects of the social situation that
is experienced. Also, opportunities are given for
growth and self expression in music and an awareness of
notable cultural events.
