The Spanish Club has become involved in many activities. The Spanish Club celebrates Día de los Muertos with music and food. Each year the club arranges a visit to La Herradura to mark Cinco de Mayo. For several years, the members have participated in the scrarecrow competition by entering and then allowing the Bradford Chamber of Commerce to raffle the entry for funds to use to beautify Bradford. During Winter Carnival, the club has a booth with Mexican jewelry for sale. Currently, the members are planning a trip to the Yucatán and Mayan Riviera in Mexico for November 5-14, 2007.
