Academics Home

This high school's academic programs are successful and respected. This confirmation is based on the number of students who have graduated and have pursued their career by way of a college degree. Our BRIDGES program is a collaborative educational laboratory between the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and the Bradford Area School District. This collaboration gives our students the opportunity to attend a university class with credit while at the same time earning the credits needed to graduate from high school.

As a vocational and technical school we assist our students in the following areas:

Mastering skills that will produce a marketable person ready for the world of work.
Assist each student in participating in a variety of apprenticeships, school-to-work, leadership and entrepreneurship programs.
Assist students in enhancing their skills in job interviews. Encourage students to participate in career fairs, student club organizations and compete in club competitions.
Rounding off their experience by participating in business and community projects.
Our overall goal is to provide a positive experience for students to master the required competencies in their specific career track and be able to pursue post-secondary training, earn a degree, or enter the job market prepared and ready for the world of work.
