This
class meets every day for 6 weeks. This course is
a continuation and amplification of the previous grade 6
and 7 courses. A more in-depth study in each application
will be done. Students will now be able to type 30
WPM with 90% accuracy. The students will learn how
to research the Internet for technical information and prepare
a report accordingly. The students will use PowerPoint
to develop a presentation demonstrating information found
on the Internet, including clip art and photos. The students
will create a simple spreadsheet assigning values and formulas.
They will further, create a database, using their own data
of something of interest to them personally. They
will create cards, sings, calendars, or small books using
PrintShop.
