Reading
Each unit provides
for reading vocabulary usage, study skills, peer editing
and analysis of story elements through various genre.
Follow-up activities such as oral presentations and projects
provide springboards for writing and the use of library
tools, both traditional and emerging. Each student
is given and individual book goal Time for individual
conferences and second efforts is provided. Thematic
units are coordinated with the Seventh Grade English Curriculum.
