Mathematics
Each
unit allows students to develop mathematical skills and
apply basic concepts of problem solving to real life situations.
Students will gain experience to develop, describe and compute
using calculators and various manipulatives in dealing with
conceptual and problem-solving skills. Student swill
demonstrate their understanding through class presentation,
research projects and student portfolios. Also, time
will be available for student conferences and re-teach for
mastery using various approaches depending upon the students'
learning style.
