Academics - 7th Grade
English
Each
unit provides for reading and analysis of elements in both
fiction and nonfiction, vocabulary usage, study skills and
peer editing. Follow-up activities such as oral presentations
and projects provide springboards for writing and the use
of library tools, both traditional and emerging. Each
student is given an individual book goal. Time for
individual conferences and second efforts is provided.
Thematic units are coordinated with the Seventh Grade Reading
Curriculum.
