Physical
Education and Wellness prepares students for a healthy,
wellness-oriented lifestyle through exposure to a variety
of team and individual activities as well as information
on maintaining minimum levels of health related fitness.
Emphasis is placed on open participation in a complete wellness
program that meets individual abilities and needs as the
key to a healthy future. Emphasis is also placed on
making healthful decisions in regards to a well lifestyle.
Social development is also promoted through interaction
with other students. Classes meet for 45 minutes two
or three times per week.
