The Bradford Area School District is accepting applications

for the following opening:

Middle School Language Arts Teacher

Pennsylvania 7-12 English Certification is required.  The successful candidate shall have experience in differentiated instruction, curriculum based assessments, benchmark assessments, be able to work well with others and demonstrate experience as strong instructional leader with improved student achievement.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, support for administrative decisions and initiatives, exhibit a positive attitude, perform in an efficient and pleasant manner, and demonstrate the ability to get along well with students, staff and the public.  They must also be able to work under stress in a calm and equitable manner and exhibit a "team" sense of both operation and cooperation with parents, students and staff.  Please send Standard PA Application, Letter of Interest, Resume, and Copy of Current Pennsylvania Certification to the: Human Resource Department, Bradford Area School District, 150 Lorana Avenue, PO Box 375, Bradford, PA 16701.  Applications will be accepted until Monday, June 20, 2011. EOE.

The following fall supplemental coaching positions are being re-posted for the 2011-2012 school year: 

Soccer:

Girls Head Coach

Girls Assistant Coach

Applicants should have playing experience preferably at the high school and/or collegiate level, coaching experience, a thorough knowledge of the sport and the ability to lead others.  They must perform in an efficient and professional manner, possess excellent communication skills, exhibit a positive attitude toward the community, school and athletic program, be a positive role model for students, act in a calm, rational and equitable manner and exhibit a “team” sense of both operation and cooperation with students, parents, administration and staff.  Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest to the Human Resource Department by the close of the day on June 22, 2011 or until positions is filled.
