About BASD

The Bradford Area School District is a mid sized, rural and suburban public school district located in north central Pennsylvania. The district encompasses approximately 250 square miles.  It serves the City of Bradford, Borough of Lewis Run, Bradford Township, Corydon Township, Foster Township and Lafayette Township in McKean County, Pennsylvania.  According to 2000 federal census data it serves a resident population of 21,772.  The Bradford Area School District provides Pre-K to 12 educational services to 2,500 pupils through the employment of 200 teachers, 124 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 15 administrators.  For more demographic information click on the link below.
