Our mission is to provide safe, positive, orderly, timely and efficient professional transportation services that enhance the educational opportunities of all students. Our staff diligently strives to create a climate of quality communication, cooperation and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of strong and interdependent working relationships.
Daily, we transport approximately 2,600 students to the Bradford Area School District and local Non-Public schools located within 10 miles of our School District boundaries. These tasks are accomplished by our driving staff of twenty-eight (28) Daily Route Drivers, six (6) Substitute/Trip Drivers, and two (2) School Bus Aides. Our 28 routes cover 249 square miles and travel over 500,000 miles per year. Our driving staff consistently has one of the best safety records in Pennsylvania.
The Bradford School District's maintenance facility is staffed by two (2) full-time mechanics and is fully equipped to perform all required maintenance and most repairs to our vehicles. Additionally, our ASE certified mechanics are certified to perform Pennsylvania State Inspections on all School District Vehicles, including bi-annual State School Bus Inspections.
